A pile of pound coins and bank notes

If used alongside the bank’s life insurance offer, customers could get up to £750.

Eligible customers looking for a cash injection could consider transferring to one of Barclays Bank’s qualifying ISAs to get an attractive bonus of up to £600.

Launched on 8 September 2026, this offer is available to customers who hold or open a Barclays Current Account or Premier Current Account. They must use the ISA transfer service to deposit a minimum of £10,000 from a non-Barclays cash or Stocks and Shares ISA into an eligible fixed rate ISA to qualify.

Depending on the amount transferred, Barclays current account customers could benefit from a cash bonus of up to £200, while Premier customers could stand to be up to £600 better off.

Total amount transferred Cash incentive
£10,000 - £24,999 £50
£25,000 - £49,999 £100
£50,000 - £99,999 £200
£100,000+ £200/£600*

* Premier account holders who transfer £100,000+ could receive a £600 bonus. To be eligible for a Premier Current Account customers must have a gross annual income of at least £75,000 or a total balance of a minimum of £100,000 in savings, eligible investments, or a mix of both with Barclays Bank.

The transfer must be requested before the offer ends on 25 November and those who are eligible will receive their reward directly into their Barclays current or Premier account by 22 February 2027.

“Cash ISAs are a great choice to shield any earnings from tax, so these are particularly useful for higher rate taxpayers who only get a £500 Personal Savings Allowance each year,” Rachel Springall, Finance Expert at Moneyfactscompare.co.uk, stated.

What's more, Barclays Bank is also offering a new life insurance reward where customers could receive up to £150. If combining these offers, they could boost their bonus and take home up to £750 worth of free money.

How do Barclays Bank’s ISAs measure up?

  • Barclays Bank

Account: Premier Triple Access 3-Year Flexible Cash ISA – Issue 2

    Notice/Term: 3 Year Bond

    Rate: 4.50% AER

Although Premier customers would receive a fairly competitive 4.50% AER with Barclays Bank’s one-, two- and three-year Triple Access ISAs, those transferring to a Single Access ISA will receive a slightly lower 4.30% AER.

Premier customers who deposit £100,000 into the one-year account will get £4,500 in interest, so this combined with the bonus would see them take home an attractive £5,100. If they were to deposit the same amount into AlRayan Bank’s leading 1 Year Fixed Rate Cash ISA via Meteor Savings (paying an expected profit rate of 4.75% AER), they could make £4,750.

However, those with less money to transfer could benefit from shopping the market as the leading one-, two-, and three-year ISA rates currently sit at a respective 4.75% AER, 4.83% AER and 4.83% AER.

“A free cash offer is a great enticement, but it’s vital that any saver is conscious of the overall benefit gained by depositing or transferring a big sum of cash into any ISA,” Springall commented.

Boost your bonus by up to £150

Alongside its ISA transfer offer, Barclays Bank also launched a life insurance reward offer. Eligible customers who take out a qualifying life insurance policy with Barclays Bank before 25 November 2026 could receive up to £150.

Customers who apply for either Barclays Simple Life Insurance or Life insurance for mortgage protection and take out a policy within six months of submitting their application could be eligible for the cash bonus. They could get £100 if they have a Barclays current account and a policy with a minimum monthly premium of £10, while customers with a Premier Current Account who take out a policy with a minimum monthly cost of £12.50 could receive a higher £150. If your monthly premium is below this, but at least £10, then you’ll still receive £100.

But, bear in mind that you won’t qualify for this offer if you’ve had a Barclays life insurance policy in the past 12 months.

To get the bonus, customers must hold the policy for 12 or more months after its start date and make all monthly payments.

However, Springall stressed that “any insurance product must be considered for its all-round cover against other plans”.

“The cost of living can make it difficult to budget outgoings, but consumers must not sacrifice a comprehensive insurance plan for a cheaper alternative, it’s important to have sufficient cover in place to cover the unexpected,” she continued.
