What are the Moneyfactscompare.co.uk Awards?

Decided by consumers, these awards celebrate those providers that offer the best products and services across family, household and personal finances.

The Moneyfacts Consumer Awards have been renamed The Moneyfactscompare.co.uk Awards from 2025 onwards. This change follows a successful rebrand of the company’s comparison website in 2023, and promises an exciting future for the awards which will be bigger and better than ever in 2025!

James Brooks, Website Manager at moneyfactscompare.co.uk, said: “I am excited to reveal the new look of the Moneyfacts Consumer Awards and welcome guests to The Moneyfactscompare.co.uk Awards in 2025.

“It’s been over a year now since we successfully renamed our consumer comparison website, so it feels like the best time to make this change.

“Guests can be assured that the name may be different, but the trust of the award and excellence of the evening will be the same!”

The Moneyfactscompare.co.uk Awards provide millions of consumers a voice and a chance to reflect on how they feel about the range of products available to them.

By combining honest customer feedback with the products Moneyfacts expert impartial analysis deems to be the best in class. The winners of these awards can prove they combine technical merit with service excellence by proudly displaying the instantly recognisable winner’s logo.

The 2025 Moneyfactscompare.co.uk Awards process will open in the autumn.

Each year the annual Moneyfactscompare.co.uk consumer survey sees hundreds of thousands of consumers having their say on hundreds of organisations. The 2024 survey saw quarter of a million individuals having their say and deciding the awards.

Consumers score the customer service that they have received, giving us feedback on providers that they have trusted with their household, family and personal finances.

Our analysis process for the 2025 Awards takes place through 12 months up to summer 2024. Shortlisted providers will be announced in autumn with the survey taking place between October and November.

Awards methodology

Stage 1: Shortlists for these awards are first assessed by our highly qualified research team who, using a strict set of criteria, drill down into the small print of each provider’s product range to measure their technical strengths and weaknesses. Only the companies that offer the best products go on to form the shortlists.

Stage 2: The shortlists are then tested in our consumer surveys, which cover personal, household and family finance.  Consumers score the providers they have experience with in each relevant category. This second stage helps to decide the overall result, so the consumer contribution influences who comes out on top.

The University of East Anglia (UEA) was commissioned to independently verify the customer service survey and analysis process of the Moneyfacts Consumer Awards.
