Feedback from Moneyfactscompare.co.uk

Securing a hat-trick of victories in the “Banking App of the Year” category is the digital bank, Chase. The 2026 ceremony saw it take home this award for the third year in a row, beating a mix of high street brands and challenger banks to the title, thanks to a strong lead in its average score.

As an app-only provider, it’s perhaps not surprising to see Chase lead the way in this category. However, with more people preferring to manage their finances from their smartphone, many providers are working hard to improve their mobile banking services, including digital specialists as well as banks with physical branches. The fact Chase has retained the title of “Banking App of the Year” in 2026, despite the best efforts of other brands, shows how much consumers value and appreciate its products and services.

Quick overview of Chase

Launched in September 2021, Chase is a digital bank with more than 2.5 million customers, that is part of the JPMorganChase family. Chase offers app-based current accounts, savings and credit cards.
