Alex joined Moneyfacts in 2023 with many years of sales experience in retail and account management and experience within the publishing and packaging industry. A keen artist outside of work, Alex had his artwork exhibited at several prestigious art shows. Specialising in savings, mortgages & business finance, Alex would be very happy to discuss your advertising needs. 

Andreea's career encompasses a blend of business development, marketing and account management, with experience within the education and the energy industry. With a Degree in Film and Literature, Andreea is an avid reader and a lifelong learner, having gone back to studying for a CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing in 2020 and graduating with Merit. She now specialises in liaising with finance providers and maximising their advertising endeavours.

Ella Mower graduated from the University of Warwick in 2021 with an honours degree in English Literature. During her studies, she held a particular interest in the British socio-economic landscape. She now writes for Moneyfacts where she is continuing to expand her financial knowledge.

James Brooks is an experienced marketing professional with various experience across the travel and property industry. Previous to Moneyfacts he worked in London for a number of years and then made the move to Norfolk where he was a Sales & Marketing Manager for a large boating holiday company. He joined Moneyfacts Group in 2022 and was promoted to Website Manager at Moneyfactscompare.co.uk in 2023. His role means he is responsible for coordinating work between all departments involved in running the consumer website to improve the user experience for both consumers and partnerships.

Leanne Macardle graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2006 with a degree in Psychosocial Sciences, but quickly changed direction and jumped into the world of finance instead. A stint at Aviva and a few years of freelancing followed, before joining the editorial department at Moneyfacts Group as sub-editor in 2013. From there she took on several writing roles which saw her work across the breadth of Moneyfacts’ editorial output, from Treasury Reports and magazine features to guides and news stories on our consumer website, culminating in her becoming Editor of the comparison site. Now writing for Moneyfacts in a freelance capacity, she continues to put her personal finance knowledge to good use by making the often complex world of finance accessible and informative to readers.

Megan Notley joined Moneyfacts in September 2025 after graduating from the University of East Anglia with a first-class degree with honours in Creative Writing and English Literature. Whilst at University Megan’s passion for content creation saw her self-publish her own book. Now she joins Moneyfactscompare.co.uk Editorial team to work on her ambitions of writing digital publications and online content.

Rhiannon Philps joined Moneyfacts in 2024 after five years as a writer at Know Your Money and NerdWallet. She has experience writing about a range of business and consumer finance topics, with a particular focus on personal loans, credit cards and insurance. Before joining the world of finance, Rhiannon graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2017 with a degree in History and wrote for several different start-ups.

Adam joined Moneyfacts as Head of Consumer Finance in 2025. He is a leading personal finance and consumer expert with regular appearances on BBC’s BBC Rip Off Britain, Jeremy Vine Show, BBC Radio, Watchdog, LBC, plus regional news & radio discussing the biggest money stories of the day and how you can get your money working harder. He has worked as a consumer journalist, editor and commentator for more than a decade. Before joining Moneyfacts he was the managing editor at NerdWallet, a personal finance editor at Future PLC and senior editor at Which?.

Caitlyn Joined Moneyfacts in August 2023 in the newly created role of Apprentice Press & PR Assistant. Prior to joining, she graduated from the University of Lincoln with a degree in Business and Management.

Caitlyn works closely with key journalists to promote the company’s public profile through data-driven releases and providing trends insights of the UK personal finance market. More recently, she has successfully completed her L4 apprenticeship with the Press Association Media Academy, passing with a distinction and is now our dedicated Personal Finance Analyst.

Rachel Springall started her career within the financial services industry way back in 2004, working her way up the administration ranks within various independent financial advisers while also securing a CF1 qualification from the CII (UK financial services, regulation & ethics). Rachel then joined Moneyfacts in October 2008, starting out in the Investment Life & Pensions department, before branching out into the personal finance team. In 2011, Rachel joined our busy press department, and is at present our in-house finance expert and dedicated press officer for Moneyfacts Group and Moneyfactscompare.co.uk. She is currently responsible for promoting the Moneyfacts brand with not only data-driven press releases, but also her valuable insight and analysis of the UK personal finance market. Not shy in front of the cameras, Rachel has appeared on the national news (including BBC Breakfast and ITV News) and has been the voice of the brand over the airways on various radio stations across the country, including a regular Monday night slot on BBC Radio Norfolk.
