The winners of the 2017 Investment Life & Pensions Moneyfacts Awards were announced last night at a ceremony held at the Lancaster Hotel in London, which saw hundreds of industry professionals gathered to hear who would be crowned stars of the show.

Hosted by Russell Kane, the event saw a total of 43 awards presented to deserving winners throughout the night, amid much celebration and revelry. The awards recognise those companies that have consistently offered the most competitive products, provided the best levels of service and shown the greatest innovation during the last 12 months, with nominees coming from across the investment, life and pensions industry.

The results draw on both the analytical expertise of the ILP Moneyfacts research team and the opinions of the magazine's financial adviser readership, giving a true measure of industry-wide excellence and meaning the winners can display their trophies with pride.

So who were victorious? Well, Canada Life stole the show, winning three awards (Best Group Protection Provider, Best Investment Service and Best Annuity Service) as well as coming highly commended in three other categories. Legal & General also went home with three awards as well as two other commendations, while Prudential and Aviva both went home with two wins and three commendations apiece.

Richard Eagling, editor of ILP Moneyfacts, said: "As consumers look to make sense, and the best, of their financial situations, the importance of those organisations that offer outstanding products, unerring service and excellent advice really comes to the fore. The 2017 Investment Life & Pensions Moneyfacts Awards winners have consistently stood out in terms of the quality of their propositions during the last 12 months."

A full list of winners can be seen below, and any one of them could be worth making a beeline for if you're in need of a new pension, investment or life insurance provider, or any advice on the above. Congratulations to all our winners, and good luck for next year!
